Luxury Car Rental Switzerland is the brand under which luxurycarrentalswitzerland.com operates a network of local rental partners across 9 cities in Switzerland. The site lists 91 vehicles — sport, luxury, convertible, SUV, electric, supercar and minivan — with day rates from €210, and also arranges chauffeur-driven hire, wedding car hire and airport delivery. The car itself is always supplied and operated under contract by the local partner in the chosen city; Luxury Car Rental Switzerland organises the enquiry, quote and confirmation for that rental.

Any booking made through the site is subject to these terms, to the written quote issued for that specific rental, and to the confirmation message sent once the booking is accepted. Questions about a booking can be sent at any time to [email protected].

No booking is made by simply filling in a form or clicking a button. The process is:

• the client sends an enquiry through the form (name, email, optional phone, chosen car if known, start and finish location, pick-up and drop-off dates, flight number for airport delivery, and a free-text message) or contacts us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp;
• we reply with a written quote covering the car, dates, locations, price, mileage allowance and deposit;
• the booking becomes binding only once we confirm it in writing and, where requested, the client confirms acceptance of the quote.

Until that written confirmation is sent, no car, date or price is held or guaranteed.

Prices shown on the site are indicative day rates starting from €210; the actual price for a given rental is the one stated in the written quote, which takes into account the car, dates, locations, delivery and any chauffeur service requested. The quoted price includes the insurance described in the quote and the 200 km per day mileage allowance; it does not include fuel, extra kilometres, fines, tolls, parking charges or any optional extras agreed separately.

Bookings are not paid online on the website. Payment terms are set out in the written quote and settled directly with the local partner, generally at or before handover, using the credit card of the main driver.

A refundable security deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name, ranging from €1,500 to €250,000 depending on the car. The deposit is released within 7 business days after the car is returned, once any fines and tolls relating to the rental have been checked.

Swiss law does not grant a general right of withdrawal for online bookings of this kind; the cancellation terms below are the voluntary policy that applies to every booking made through the site.

• Cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the rental is free of charge.
• Cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the rental is charged at the amount of the first rental day.
• Changes to dates, car or locations are handled as a new quote where they affect price or availability, and must be confirmed in writing before they take effect.

All cancellations and change requests must be sent to [email protected] or through the same channel used to confirm the booking.

We or the local partner may cancel or amend a confirmed booking where the car cannot safely or lawfully be provided as booked, in particular because of severe weather, a genuine safety concern, a technical fault affecting the specific car, or an event of force majeure. In that case we will offer an equivalent car where one is available, or propose alternative dates, or refund any amount already paid for the affected rental. We are not liable for indirect costs arising from such a cancellation, such as alternative transport, flights or accommodation booked by the client.

At handover the main driver must present a valid driving licence, a passport or identity card, and a credit card in their own name; an International Driving Permit may be required in addition to a non-EU licence.

• Minimum age 21 with at least 2 years' licence for standard cars.
• Minimum age 25 with at least 3 years' licence for supercars.

A booking may be refused at handover if these conditions are not met, in which case the cancellation terms above apply.

The car is handed over and returned at the time and location agreed in the quote, including airport delivery where requested. The local partner carries out a joint condition check with the client at both handover and return; the client is expected to report any pre-existing damage at handover so it is not attributed to them at return. The car must be returned in the same condition, cleanliness and fuel level as at handover, subject to normal wear.

Mileage of 200 km per day is included in every booking; kilometres driven beyond this are charged at the rate stated in the quote. The car must be returned with the same fuel level as at handover; any missing fuel is charged at cost plus a refuelling service fee.

Traffic fines, tolls and parking charges incurred during the rental are the renter's responsibility. Where these are issued to the local partner after return, they are passed on to the client together with an administrative fee. Driving abroad, track days and off-road use require prior written approval; smoking and pets are not allowed in any of the cars.

Insurance cover is included in the quote as described there. In the event of at-fault damage during the rental, the renter is liable for the insurance excess stated in the quote; this amount may be charged against the security deposit.

The car may only be used for ordinary road travel in line with the approvals given at booking. The following are not covered by the included insurance and are treated as prohibited use unless agreed in writing in advance: driving outside the agreed countries, track or circuit driving, off-road driving, sub-letting or commercial use of the car, and driving by anyone other than the named main driver or an approved additional driver.

Luxury Car Rental Switzerland organises the booking; the local partner performs the rental. Our liability as the booking service is limited to the correct handling of the enquiry, quote and confirmation; liability for the condition, performance and safety of the car itself rests with the local partner that supplies it, within the insurance and excess terms set out in the quote. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost business, missed events or onward travel costs.

We may correct errors in car details or indicative pricing at any time before a quote is issued.

These terms, and any booking made under them, are governed by the substantive law of Switzerland. Any dispute arising from a booking is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts at the place where the relevant local partner operates.

We may update these terms at any time; the version published on the site at the time an enquiry is sent applies to that booking. Material changes affecting an already confirmed booking will be communicated in writing before they take effect.
